Is PDF24 safe?
Short answer: yes, for most documents. PDF24 is a real company with a published privacy policy and a large user base. PDF24's web tools upload files to their servers for processing; they also publish a separate desktop application that works offline.
The question worth asking is not whether they are trustworthy — it is whether your document should be transmitted at all. A restaurant menu, a public form: it genuinely does not matter. A signed contract, a payslip, a medical letter, anything under NDA: many people would rather it never left the machine.
