Make Fillable turns a flat PDF form into a fillable one: you draw text fields, check boxes and dropdowns where they belong, and the tool writes them as real AcroForm fields — then reads the saved file back and lists the fields it actually carries, by name, type and page. The page content itself is untouched, byte for byte.

Flat forms are everywhere
The club membership sheet, the vendor onboarding form, the scanned application — lines on paper, exported to PDF, filled by hand or by placing text on top. Real form fields are better when many people will fill the same document: tab order, on-screen typing, values that travel as form data.
What "real fields" means
AcroForm fields written into the PDF — the kind a form-capable reader offers for typing. The page content is untouched (byte-identical, which the tool's own tests assert), so your document's look cannot drift while it gains its fields.
The read-back
After saving, the file is opened again and the fields found in it are listed by name, type and page — including any that did not arrive. The check is on the output, which is the only place a check means anything.
Frequently asked questions
Does it find the blanks for me?
No — stated on the page: you draw the fields; nothing is detected for you. That is why what you get is exactly what you placed.
Why does the form look different in another reader?
A field's appearance — font, highlight, focus ring — is drawn by the reader that opens it. The fields are real; the paint job is the reader's.
Can it add a signature field?
