Make Fillable turns a flat form — a PDF that is only printed labels and ruled lines — into one that can be filled on screen. You drag a box where each field belongs, choose whether it is a text field, a check box or a dropdown, and name it; the tool writes real AcroForm fields at those rectangles, then re-opens the saved file and lists the fields it actually found. It does not look for the blanks itself, it does not create digital-signature fields, and it does not rewrite the pages — the fields are added alongside the page content, which is left as it was.

- Download the result and read the check: the saved file is opened again and the fields it carries are listed by name, type and page.
Good to know: You place every field yourself: nothing here detects where a form's blanks are, and digital-signature fields are not created.

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. UnboundPDF processes PDFs locally in the browser — documents are not uploaded to a server. We have no backend that receives, stores, or scans your files.
Does it find the blanks for me?
No. There is no detection of rules, boxes or labels anywhere in this tool — you draw each field where you want it. That is stated up front because a tool that quietly missed half a form would be worse than one that never claimed to look.
What kinds of field can it make?
Text fields, check boxes and dropdowns. Digital-signature fields are not created here: a signature widget is a different object with different consequences. To place a signature image on a page, use Fill & Sign.
Will the fields work in my PDF reader?
The fields written are ordinary AcroForm fields, which is the form format PDF readers with form support use. How each one looks — its font, its highlight, its focus ring — is drawn by the reader that opens the file, so the same form can look different in different readers.
Does adding fields change the page?
No. The fields are annotations added alongside the page content; the page's content stream is not written. The test suite proves that by comparing every page's content stream byte for byte before and after, rather than promising it.
How do I know the fields are really in the file?
The saved output is opened again and its fields are read out of those bytes — names, types and the page each one sits on — independently of the list used to write them. The result shows that reading, and names any field that did not arrive.

The work runs on your own device, inside the browser tab — so there is no server to send your document to.
