How to fill & Sign

Fill & Sign lets you type into forms, add checkmarks, and drop your signature onto a PDF. It works for both interactive and flat printed forms, because the text is placed on top of the page.

  1. Add your PDF; it opens on your device and is never uploaded.
  2. Use the text and check tools to type answers and tick boxes anywhere on the page.
  3. Add your signature by drawing, typing, or uploading it, then place it where it belongs.
  4. Click Save PDF, then preview and download the filled document.

Everything happens in your browser — your file is never uploaded, and there is no sign-up, watermark, or limit.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using open-source libraries, so your file is processed on your own device and is never uploaded. We have no backend that receives, stores, or scans your documents.

Is it really free, and will there be a watermark?

Yes. There is no account, no sign-up, and no hourly limit, and the tools never add a watermark to your output. UnboundPDF is free and is not affiliated with Adobe.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The tools run in any modern mobile browser as well as on desktop. Because the work uses your device's own memory and processor, very large files simply take longer on phones.

Can I fill a form that is not interactive?

Yes. Text and checkmarks are placed as an overlay, so flat or scanned forms work just as well as ones with real form fields.

How do I add my signature?

Open the signature tool and draw it with your mouse or finger, type your name in a script style, or upload an image, then click to place it.
