What a guided outcome is
A single tool does one thing well and leaves the sequencing to you. An outcome page does the sequence — merge then compress, scan then clean, sign then flatten — and then does the part almost nobody does: it re-opens the file it just produced and measures it. Page count, size against the cap you stated, encryption state, whether the text layer survived. Those results are printed as they came back.
The Document Passport
Every chain can hand you a small JSON file recording what ran, what was checked, and the SHA-256 of the output. That hash proves the file has not changed by a byte since. It does not prove authorship, approval, or truth — it is self-issued and unsigned, and we would rather write that here than let it look like a certificate.
