Compress PDF to 100KB
Opens set to 100KB — drop your PDF and it is brought under the limit.
To compress a PDF to 100KB, drop it into the tool above: it first re-compresses only the photos (text stays selectable), and only if that is not enough re-renders the pages step by step until the real file size is under 100KB. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Where 100KB limits come from
This is the classic cap for scanned certificates, mark sheets, ID proofs and one-page documents on online application forms, bank KYC uploads and government portals.
What fits in 100KB
One or two scanned A4 pages stay readable. Text-only PDFs (exported from Word) are usually already this small.
Our test scan (one A4 scanned page, 1.7 MB) came out at 161 KB under a 500 KB limit with text still selectable, at 97 KB under 100 KB, and at 16 KB under 20 KB (visibly softer). Your file is not our file — the result panel always shows the real number.
If your PDF won't go under 100KB
- Remove blank pages first — each one still costs bytes.
- If the form allows it, upload pages as separate files rather than one bundle.
- Scan at 150 dpi, not 300–600 dpi; the tool can only remove what is there.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no hourly cap.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Compression runs entirely in your browser — there is no server that receives documents.
Can I compress to 100KB without losing quality?
Often, yes. The tool first re-compresses only the photos inside the PDF and leaves text and vectors untouched. Only if that cannot reach 100KB does it re-render pages as images, which makes the text unselectable. The result tells you which method was needed.
Does it work on iPhone, Android and Mac?
Yes — in any current browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge). No app to install.
What if my PDF won't go under 100KB?
You get the smallest version the tool could make, with its real size, and a note. Splitting the PDF or removing blank pages usually solves it.
How do I compress a PDF to 100KB for an online form?
Set the limit to the number the form states (it is 100KB here), compress, and upload the downloaded file. If the form asks for KB, 1 MB is 1024 KB.

How your files are handled
The work runs on your own device, inside the browser tab — so there is no server to send your document to.
- Nothing is uploaded. We have no backend that receives or stores documents, so we cannot see your files during processing or after.
- Your device does the work. Large documents are handled in stages, pages are rendered as you reach them, and each job is checked against your device before it starts — so a long run takes longer on a phone than on a laptop, nothing is queued behind other people's jobs, and you can stop a run at any point without touching your original file.
- No account and no watermark. The output is a clean file you can use anywhere, with no sign-up and no hourly cap.
